Our online lessons at Teacher Bee are designed specifically for Grade R, 1, and 2 learners following a CAPS-aligned homeschooling curriculum. Each lesson is led by a qualified tutor and held live via an online platform according to a structured timetable, updated each term. (Please note a link will be sent to each active learner to join these lessons).

Lessons are interactive, age-appropriate, and paced to support early childhood development in Literacy, Numeracy, Life Skills, and more. In addition, our mornings begin with a short Bible lesson and prayer, reflecting our strong Christian foundation and values.

To ensure effective learning, an adult, older sibling, or caregiver must be present during the sessions to assist with technical or computer-related needs. While we provide the academic structure and teaching, the caregiver remains an essential part of the homeschooling journey—supporting learning outside of lesson hours.

At Teacher Bee, we understand that homeschooling involves more than just quality education—it also requires meeting the Department of Education’s documentation and submission standards.

• Access to Tutor Qualifications & Credentials – Parents will receive verified documentation of our tutors’ teaching qualifications, which can be submitted to the Department of Education as part of your annual homeschooling records.
• Lesson Logs & Assessment Records – We maintain accurate records of online lesson attendance and weekly assessments, which can assist you in demonstrating academic progress.
• CAPS-Aligned Curriculum Outline – We follow the South African CAPS curriculum and can provide an annual overview of content covered, to ensure your homeschooling program aligns with national requirements.
• Term Reports  – Formal reports summarizing learner progress across key subjects can be issued each term, should you require them for portfolio purposes or educational reviews.
• Scheduled Parent-Tutor meetings  – Formal minutes of meetings kept detailing behavior, progression and improvement plans that take into account the learner as a whole.

It remains the sole responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to compile and submit all required documentation to the Department of Education. We do not submit on your behalf, but we are happy to guide and assist where needed.
